Reports To: Warehouse Day Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Receive and record incoming products using RF gun. Have an understanding of the different types of products and labels used during the receiving process and how it affects the warehouse operations.

|E||Inspect condition of incoming products and materials following our Inbound Receiving SOP and to ensure products and materials are in compliance with our HACCP requirements.|
|E||Inspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items.|
|E||Report any non-compliance issues to the Supervisor immediately.|
|E||Use RF gun to receive inbound products and verify products and quantities against corresponding purchase orders.|
|E||Sort and palletize products for receiving following the Inbound Receiving SOP|
|E||Label products with corresponding labels following the Label Instruction SOP|
|E||Verify product labels are correct and applied properly.|
|E||Ability to communicate with each warehouseman to efficiently clear product from the receiving area.|
|E||Clean work areas following various Palama SSOP’s|
|E||Utilize pallet jacks to stage products if Supervisor or forklift operator is not available.|
|E||Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times.|

Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Forklift certification preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities – Ability to work overtime as required to complete tasks. 2 years of forklift experience required. Ability to work at elevated heights.
